Anyone using Windows and IE7 knows how annoying all of those SharePoint prompts are. Below is a list of steps that you can take to make most of the prompts go away…
- From Internet Explorer, click on Tools --> Internet Options
- Click on the Security tab
- Highlight Local Intranet and then click on the Sites button
- Uncheck the “Automatically detect intranet network” option and click on the Advanced button
- Uncheck the “Require server verification (https: ) for all sites in this zone” option
- Add the following sites to this zone:
- Click Close
- Click OK
- Click OK
