You open them the same way... generally. In most cases its done by File --&amp;gt; Open Other Users Folder , enter their name or email address, select the type of file to open (Inbox, Calendar, or Contacts) and say ok. BOOM! You are done. In our shared environment, however, we have seen random issues. There doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, but soemtimes this process simply doesnt work. Sometimes the user will get an error stating &amp;quot;Entourage cannot connect to the Exchange Server&amp;quot;. Very confusing, as you are already connected to the exchange server to get your mail. Here is the trick to getting around this. Usually your e-mail address is &lt;a href="mailto:username@yourdomain.com"&gt;username@yourdomain.com&lt;/a&gt;. Sometimes, Entourage will not recognize this and you will need to use a backdoor email alias that is &lt;a href="mailto:username.yourdomain.com@networkdomain.local"&gt;username.yourdomain.com@networkdomain.local&lt;/a&gt;, or just &lt;a href="mailto:username@networkdomain.local"&gt;username@networkdomain.local&lt;/a&gt; if you don&amp;#39;t have multiple domains on your network. I know, it&amp;#39;s so obvious, how could you have missed it, right? But really, this takes some work to find for all of you Exchangers out there. If you are a network Administartor for your Exchange organization, you will access Active Directory and find the user who is sharing their mailbox. Under properties, click on the Email Addresses tab. Here will be a list of email aliases for this user. Find the address that has the .local extension and this will be the username that you will need to use to access this users shared folders. Once you have this information, follow this process:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;div&gt;In Entourage click File --&amp;gt; Open Other User&amp;#39;s Folder&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;In the Open Other User&amp;#39;s Folder windo click the Find User icon on the right side&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;in the Select User window, click the Advanced button in the lower left hand corner&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;In the Advanced Settings window enter the following info&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Name: First and Last name of the user&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;E-Mail Address: the .local address from AD, i.e. &lt;a href="mailto:username.yourdomain.com@networkdomain.local"&gt;username.yourdomain.com@networkdomain.local&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Server Address: The address of your exchange webserver&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Check any applicable boxes (In our case users require an SSL connection)&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;When finished, click OK&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;In the Type drop-down box, select the type of folder you are trying to open and hit OK&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

Is it the switches?...Is it the cables?... Is it the servers?.... Is it a name-resolution issue?... Is there an infected system on the network?.... The list is endless, and most of the time, the result is a cumulative effect of many of these affected areas. &lt;br /&gt;As professionals, we work, methodically, through the various possibilities; fixing one or more of the many items that we find while troubleshooting. Sometimes we get so &amp;quot;deep&amp;quot; into these scenarios that we can end up &amp;quot;losing sight of the forest for the trees&amp;quot;. The more fragmented this folder becomes, the longer it takes for the disk to respond to SMTP, which in turn causes inetinfo.exe to eat a lot of CPU cycles. The end result is that your Exchange Server starts performing very badly.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Another thing you can do to prove this is the issue is run the &lt;a href="http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=4bdc1d6b-de34-4f1c-aeba-fed1256caf9a&amp;amp;displaylang=en"&gt;Exchange Troubleshooting Assistant&lt;/a&gt;. Let it gather data for at least 20 minutes, and the reports that it produces will likely report disk performance problems that it will classify as a bottleneck.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Fixing this is pretty simple, but does take some time...&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;First off, open your IMF settings and change the &amp;quot;When blocking messages&amp;quot; value to &amp;quot;No Action,&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Delete&amp;quot; or &amp;quot;Reject.&amp;quot; You will find these options with Exchange System Manager --&amp;gt; Global Settings, and then choose the Properties for Message Delivery.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;&lt;a title="for blog post" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/48889110302@N01/2828596839/"&gt;&lt;img border="0" alt="for blog post" src="http://static.flickr.com/3020/2828596839_dac906a04d.jpg" width="300" height="346" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;The you will need to delete all of the files in the UCEArchive folder. You will not be able to open this folder in Windows Explorer because of the size and fragmentation of the folder, so you will need to access it from the command prompt. Open a command prompt and switch to the %programfiles\exchsrvr\badmail\vsi 1\UCEArchive folder (If you want to be amazed at the sheer number of messages, go ahead and execute a directory command...). Once in the directory, type del *.* to remove all of the spam messages in the folder. next to the names, it will give you full access to the private

&lt;p&gt;• If you click in a mail address, it will give you full access to the Mail application. All your mail will be exposed.&lt;br /&gt;
• If there&amp;#39;s a URL in your contact (or in a mail message) you can click on it and have full access to Safari.&lt;br /&gt;
• If you click on send text message in a contact, it will give you full access to all your SMS.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Hopefully, this major security break that fully exposes your most
private information will be solved as soon as possible. Until then, you
can avoid any potential breach doing the following:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. In the iPhone home, go to Settings.&lt;br /&gt;
2. Click on General.&lt;br /&gt;
3. Click on Home Button.&lt;br /&gt;
4. &lt;p&gt;We have updated our Control Panel page and now both Outlook 2007 and Entourage 2008 are available for free download for our Exchange customers. If you are one of our users and want to give one of these programs a shot, go to cp.myhostedexchange.com and login with your e-mail address and password. At the bottom of the screen you will see links for Outlook 2007 and for Entourage 2008. If you are an administrator for your organization, you will have an extra step. Click on &amp;quot;List Users&amp;quot; on the left hand side after you login, then from the user list, put the dot next to your name and click the Auto Login button. This will take you to the User Action screen and you will be able to download from there! Give it a shot and learn to love it! (You can set up a GMail account, for example, and send the file to that.)&amp;nbsp; Open the attached SSL certificate on your iPhone and, when prompted, opt to install it onto your phone.&amp;nbsp; You should then be able to set up your iPhone to work with ActiveSync with your Exchange server.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I found this information &lt;a href="http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies-archive.cfm/1018847.html" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;, they also talk about an alternative method as well which involves downloading some Apple software called the Enterprise Configuration utility.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;To download a copy of your SSL certificate do the following :&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Go to your Outloook Web Access page (https://mail.mydomain.com for example)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2. &amp;nbsp; Click on the lock icon on the right-hand side of the address bar and click on View Certificates&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3. &amp;nbsp; Click on the Details tab then click on the Copy to File button&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;4. &amp;nbsp; Take the defaults in the wizard and name the certificate whatever you chose when prompted then click next.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;5.&amp;nbsp; We had a user having issues setting up his iPhone where he had everything running great and then, all of the sudden, it stopped synching. Not only did it stop synching, but all of is folders showed up and they were completely empty! Crazy, right? Well, for all of you Exchangers out there, you know that your mailbox can often times have a size limit. When this limit is reached, it apparently conflicts with Activesync on the iPhone and will not allow proper synchronization. All you need to do to get up and running again is clear out some of your extraneous data and you are ready to go. Apparently there have been issues on top issues with Mobile Me because Apple feels they may have released it too soon. While this is a messy thing, there are two nice things here: 1. Apple fessed up right away and shouldered the blame. 2. Because they had the smarts to do that, anyone trying out Mobile Me can try it for 30 extra days. It may be bad form releasing something so buggy, but I do think its good form to not waste anytime, admit yoru mistakes, and keep your customers happy. I&amp;#39;ve heard a few reports of failed upgrades so far this morning, but they&amp;#39;ve been few and far between.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The first impression I got from the 2.0 software was the ease of setting up ActiveSync.&amp;nbsp; All you need (for Shared Exchange at least) is your email address, password and username (which is generally your email address) as well as your Shared Exchange server name.&amp;nbsp; It was actually easier to set up the iPhone with ActiveSync than it is with a Windows Mobile device.&amp;nbsp; No need for a truncated-to-16-character username for this guy!&amp;nbsp; Instructions for activating your Shared Exchange mailbox can be found &lt;a href="http://www.lanlogic.net/support/docs/article.aspx?id=10566" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;The App Store has some pretty interesting applications too, I&amp;#39;ve already installed a good number of applications onto the device and, so far, they&amp;#39;ve all been free.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;ve got Pandora (online music station), JOTT (audio notes to self that are transcribed and emailed to you), and ShoZu (easy photo emailing to sites like Flickr).&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;ve also installed a few &amp;quot;fun&amp;quot; applications including a super-nerdy lightsaber application that uses the accelerometer to know when I&amp;#39;m moving the iPhone around.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It&amp;#39;s too early to tell how the battery life will be affected by ActiveSync&amp;#39;s push email, but I don&amp;#39;t expect that it&amp;#39;ll be too bad.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Again, I&amp;#39;ve only been running 2.0 for less than 24 hours so there&amp;#39;s plenty to still dig into, but so far, I like it!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;**UPDATE**&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I found out about a VERY cool little add-on that makes me very happy.&amp;nbsp; You can now take screenshots directly from your iPhone:&amp;nbsp; Press and hold the &amp;quot;home&amp;quot; button then tap the power button on the top.&amp;nbsp; Whatever is on your iPhone&amp;#39;s screen will then be saved as a picture on your Camera Roll to be done with as you please.&amp;nbsp; Things get a little weird and just dont act right. If you are a PC user, you know what I am talking about. If you are a Mac user, you are better at lying to yourself about it, but you know it happens! Those of us with cell phones (pretty much everyone on the planet at this point. Do elementary school kids really need these?) have had issues at some point and needed to do a soft reset. The iPhone is no different, so here is what you do:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;div&gt;Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and Home button simultaneously until the screen goes black. Ignore the usual &amp;quot;Slide to power off&amp;quot;.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

Maybe you hacked a little too far. Maybe you are selling it and need your personal information removed to keep yourself safe. Or maybe, heaven forbid, your Apple device is just acting buggy. No matter what the case, at some point, you may need to reset your iPhone back to its factory state. Of course this means losing any and all data you have put on there, so make sure you back up anything you can. A hard reset should be a last resort when troubleshooting, so try doing a soft reset first when possible. That said, here are the instructions for a hard reset:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;You will want to start from a powered off state, so if you are using your phone, shut it off.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Press the Home button and hold for about 10 seconds, until&amp;nbsp;the &amp;quot;Please Connect to iTunes&amp;quot; screen appears&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Plug your iPhone into a Mac or PC running iTunes&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Open iTunes&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;iTunes will promt you with a screen that says &amp;quot;iTunes has detected an iPhone in Recovery mode.&amp;quot; Click OK&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
&lt;div&gt;When the iPhone pane comes up, click Restore&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;
